Introducing User Feedback – Tune.pk

Users drive growth. They’re prime agents in bringing about approvals and improvements in the growth cycle of an application. Their feedback is always handy in the process of evaluating and drawing analysis. You can only gauge your product and its value in a user’s life when they are able to share their raw and forthright opinion about it. Therefore its imperative to have a robust and regular feedback system. 

Weighing upon its importance and how effective it is to help one grow; Tune.pk recently introduced ‘User Feedback’ for its two major components;

  1. Search

  2. Upload

Search happens to be one of the most extensively used features at Tune.pk. Heat maps suggest that a great percentage of users right away use search bar to find the content they are looking for. The user type in their query and are immediately redirected to the results page upon hitting enter.  It is of utmost importance that user gets the most relevant and accurate results against their typed query.

To validate the accuracy of our search algorithms and relevancy of our results; we have introduced a feedback system. A user is asked to rate our search results  based on what he sees on result’s page for a query he typed. The process is repeated every 15 days to ensure that we’re doing it right.

If the rating is ranging from satisfactory to poor; we’d be keen to hear from our user what exactly did he not like (relevant to search query) and what improvements would he like to suggest.

Our dedicated resources are continuously monitoring the feedback we receive from our users, so any problem or improvements highlighted by our users can be communicated to the team.

Similarly Upload is also a key functionality of our app. It is of prime importance that user gets a smooth and slick experience while uploading his content. To ensure that we’re providing first-class service to our users we inquire them about their feedback. The process is repeated every 7-days. Identical to search feedback, we’re keen that user provides descriptive feedback if his ratings are ranging from satisfactory to poor.

The feedback system has enabled us to assess quality of UX (User Experience) that we have been able to offer and also the improvements our user expects. By effectuating our users’ suggestions, it is easier to say that we’re on our way to create a product that is loved and adored.
